Nekton are swimming organisms that persistently propel through water column without touching bottom. Nekton animals include: Invertebrate squid, Fish (tuna, sharks), Reptiles (sea turtles), Marine Mammals (Cetaceans, sirenias, pinnipeds), Crustaceans, Prawns, and Shrimp. Objective: Describe marine nektonic organisms and provide examples of biodiversity for this type of marine life
