After spending the night at Lyra’s house, Emery returns to school feeling more conflicted than ever -- especially after Rhydian’s lingering advances the night before. As Jade begins noticing how much Emery has changed since meeting Lyra, tension grows between the two friends during an emotional confrontation in the school bathroom. Meanwhile, Lyra becomes suspicious after catching her parents in another quiet argument about her father’s mysterious “business trips.” Later that night, Emery heads back to Lyra’s house to hang out with the group, where awkward flirting, hidden jealousy, and unresolved feelings begin surfacing between Emery, Jared, and Rhydian. But when Lyra unexpectedly walks in on a tense moment between Emery and her brother, Emery realizes Lyra may know more than she’s letting on.
