Tutorial | How to make ghungurus

Tutorial | how to make ghungurus - dance bells Ghungurus are a very important tool for kathak practice and performance. Readymade ghungurus are often of poor quality. Braiding them yourself on the rope makes much more strong instruments and you will find how to do that in this video. Of course, there are many ways to do it and this is just the way I have learnt and used for the last 20 years. Feel free to ask question in the comments if some part of the process is unclear. Material: ghungurus (bells), the quantity you want, for 2 feet cotton rope (that would fit in the bells' ring but not too tightly), a fair amount (to be on the safe side, count 20m for 2x50) cello tape scissors a round shaped file video credits: Ankit Tushar www.meerakathak.com #howtomakeghungurus #dancebells #kathakdance  ------------------------------------------------------- Follow Meerakathak on Facebook:   / meerakathak   And Instagram:   / meerakathak   Meera in Sangeet Natak Academy - Lucknow (dadra)    • Meera in Nritya Utsav Lucknow - dadra   Meera in Nritta-Nritya - Geneva University (Shiva Vandana)    • NRITTA NRITYA | Shiva Vandana - Meera   Meera in Bhagalpur Pt.
