Soldier, Interrupted | a short film by Veterans
Three office workers are yanked from a routine meeting as their hidden lives as National Guard soldiers collide with the everyday workplace. Filmed at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon, in JAN 2026. Patton Veterans Project is a nonprofit organization that uses collaborative filmmaking as a therapeutic pathway for veterans coping with posttraumatic and other service-related stress to validate their service accomplishments, reduce social isolation, and strengthen family, community and professional bonds. We’ve hosted more than 50 film workshops at several military bases, VA hospitals, universities, and private clinics both in the US and Israel, enabling more than 1000 veterans from 18 to 80 to collaborate on more than 300 short films expressing their experiences. For more information on our workshops and how to register for one, visit pattonveteransproject.org. How to Support!
