Aigle, la botte made in Nouvelle Aquitaine

The only factory, and above all, the last boot factory in France. And it's in Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Discover the behind-the-scenes of the Aigle boot. Rubber boots made in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, in Ingrandes, north of Châtellerault or Poitiers (in Vienne). Every day, 4,000 pairs leave this factory where more than 200 people make them by hand. Instructions for use takes you through all the stages of boot manufacturing: from mixing (the process that gives strength and color to the rubber) to finishing. And there are many. More than 60 stages... Regarding exports, they export largely to China. Asia is their first export market and the second market after the French market... We will also talk about training within the company; each year, the brand trains around ten people to become master rubber workers (the people who make the boots have this title).
