The Truth About Jaguars in The U.S.

The jaguar is one of the most iconic animals in the western hemisphere and what if I told you this big cat was living wild in the United States. During the 1600s Jaguars lived in across the Western US from California all the way to the Mississippi River. Sadly though Europeans essentially whipped out these endangered creatures to near extinction and it was assumed they became extinct in the U.S., but now with sightings on the rise in Arizona and New Mexico (especially its sky islands) people are starting to wonder how many Jaguars truly remain in the U.S. and are they here to stay and possibly reclaim there long lost territory as back in the late Pleistocene Jaguars lived from Florida to Washington and even Pensilvania. So what the heck is going on with these jaguars???
