I installed the JCW pro exhaust on my brand new 2021 F56 JCW! (sound comparison & cold starts)

I installed the JCW pro exhaust on my brand new 2021 F56 JCW. Contrary to what is stated on minis website this WILL fit U.S. spec minis no problem, no modification required. It will also fit any mini that doesn't have the gas particle filter (GPF/PPF) in the resonator. If you have a second cat right before your resonator you probably don't have a GPF. If the front of your resonator is rounded and doesn't look exactly like the back of your resonator you probably have a GPF. Even if you do have a GPF it is possible to have the CEL coded out that will appear due to the removal of the GPF when installing this exhaust. Alternatively, if you have a GPF, you could cut your stock exhaust behind your resonator and cut a section of the the pro exhaust out and still install the pro exhaust after the stock resonator. The only issue I ran into is the rubber grommet that comes with the wiring kit doesn't fit in the hole in the floor of the boot on newer minis. mini has changed the design of this grommet/plug. You can find the correct one from ECS tuning for $5-$6. ECS part #: 164380
