ANIMATION of all commuter train lines in greater Jakarta [update 2024]

Since my first animation of the commuter line train routes in Jakarta some three years ago now, things have changed, so I decided to make a completely new version of that animation, so I can also show you the interchange stations with other rail-based transport in the Greater Jakarta area. This update also comes with the reactivation of Pondok Rajeg station that was reopened mid-October 2024 after being shut down in 2006. Gambir station is marked as closed, as it does not serve commuter line trains. It is only in use for intercity trains. This makes it impossible to travel to and from the station by commuter train to make a connection to an intercity if you need to. Pasar Senen station is only called at for northbound trains because it’s also a hub for intercity trains. Gunung Putri station on the red line branch is no longer in use but might see reactivation now Pondok Rajeg has been reactivated. Sukaresmi on the on the red mainline is currently in the planning phase.
