The Third Biggest Mall in the Philippines, SM Megamall | Ortigas, Mandaluyong, Metro Manila

SM Megamall, of all their many locations, is one of the more famous and definitely the one of the biggest malls in their portfolio, and is among the biggest in the entire world. It first opened in 1991, becoming the third SM Supermall after SM North EDSA and SM City Sta. Mesa, and, with a floor area of 474,000 m² across six levels from the lower ground level to the fifth level, it is also the third biggest mall in the Philippines and the seventeenth biggest mall in the world. Located right beside EDSA in the Ortigas central business district in Mandaluyong and close to the Ortigas MRT-3 station, it has had a few expansions since its first opening, culminating in the current floor space it has today. One of these is the Mega Fashion Hall or Building D. Even at the time of the video's recording, there were renovations underway which would further increase the mall's area. Additionally, it also has a bowling alley in the fourth level, and an ice skating rink in the fifth level, one of only three in the entirety of the Philippines (the other two are also in SM malls).
