Heilbad Heiligenstadt - A city in the heart of Germany

In the Leine and Geislede valleys, picturesquely surrounded by the forested mountain peaks of the Iberg and Dunes, lies Heilbad Heiligenstadt, the traditional capital of Eichsfeld. The city, with a population of 17,085, includes the districts of Bernterode, Flinsberg, Günterode, Kalteneber and Rengelrode.
