Inauguration Ceremony of TEACH - CTEI & FDP Certificate Launch

TEACH marked a significant milestone with the inauguration of the Centre for Teaching Excellence & Inclusion (CTEI), a dedicated centre committed to training and developing educators & institutions inclusive for DHH learners. The occasion also witnessed the launch of the Faculty Development Programme & Certificate (FDP), an RCI-approved programme under STTP, further strengthening TEACH’s commitment to advancing inclusive education across India. We were honoured to be joined by distinguished dignitaries: Chief Guest Ms. Manmeet Kaur Nanda, IAS Additional Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India Special Guest Mr. Ashish Thakare, IAS Director, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Government of India, and Member Secretary, Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment Keynote Speaker Prof. Mandar Bhanushe Head of Faculty, Science and Technology, CDOE – University of Mumbai, and Advisory Board Member, TEACH Mr. Deepesh Nair Co-Founder and Trustee, TEACH Together, they highlighted the importance of empowering educators, strengthening inclusive practices, and creating meaningful learning opportunities for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) learners. The inauguration of CTEI and the launch of the FDP Certification reaffirm our collective commitment towards building a more inclusive, equitable, and accessible education ecosystem.
