2023 GWM Shanhai Poer Pickup in-depth Walkaround Great Wall Motors (GWM) unveiled the new Shanhai Poer pickup truck at the 2022 Guangzhou Auto Show in China. The car is available in gasoline and diesel versions, with prices ranging from 258,800 – 301,800 RMB (37,500 – 43,700 USD) and 228,800 – 248,800 RMB (33,100 – 36,000 USD), respectively. Inside, the Shanhai Poer boasts soft leather-like materials and features a 14.6-inch central control screen and a 12.3-inch instrument panel. The gasoline version is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine with an output of 260 kW and 500 Nm, coupled with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the diesel version comes with a 2.4T engine that produces 135 kW and 480 Nm, with a maximum thermal efficiency of 42%. Moreover, the Shanhai Poer has a 3.3-ton towing capacity and is equipped with high-mount brake lights and dual 220V power ports inside and outside the vehicle. GWM claims that the Shanhai Poer is versatile enough to handle various outdoor scenarios, from leisure fishing and outdoor camping to long-distance travel.
