He is the leading cultural historian of the Bakgatla clans and the Ndebele clans of Mokopane, Limpopo. He has researched the history of his people over the years from oral history spoken in his childhood and from public records found in municipal libraries, thus compiling a rich history of the Pre-Voortrek Transvaal area, all the way back to his Ancestors who migrated here in the 1200s who are progenitors of the BaPedi and a few BaSotho.
