Mak Okun, 24, from Arizona, USA, was born missing his arm but never allowed it to hold him back and worked with Advanced Arm Dynamics to use a ‘sleeve’ which attached to his arm and aide him to pump some iron. The prosthetic, which has a pin lock system and can perform functions that a wrist joint could, is made from carbon fibre to help Mak lift the massive weights his body is capable of. But, according to Mak, his prosthetic is only half of his success which he also puts down to disciplined nutrition and is based on supply and demand.
