Incredible! 5 Heritage Diesels on the Mainline in 3 Minutes! 3x 37s & 2x 20s

In this short video we capture an incredible 5 heritage diesel locos in the space of with no other trains passing by! Featuring 3 Class 37s & 2 Class 20s with 37401, 37425, 37424, 20007 & 20205 at Hasland, Chesterfield, 9th February 2026. We start the video with 37401 Mary Queen of Scots heading from Barrow Hill LIP to Crewe HS powering passed before it crossed over from the slow onto the fast line on the MML at 13:37. At 13:39 we see 37425 Concrete Bob & 37424 (Formally known as Avro Vulcan XH558) speeding by heading from Derby RTC to Derby RTC via... literally the world on a run lasting overnight! 😂 Derby - Chesterfield - Buxton - Altrincham - Chester - Wrexham - Penyffordd - Wrexham - Chester - Warrington - Hooton - Warrington - Chester - Crewe - Lichfield - Burton-on-Trent - Derby Very quickly after at 13:40, we see 20007 & 20205 storming passed on their way from York North Yard to Dollands Moor Sidings in preparation for the barrier wagons to head back into France to collect the brand new Tyne & Wear Metro units before returning to England in preparation for the Class 20s to haul them all the way up the ECML to Newcastle! The original timings for these runs were supposed to be 20007 & 20205 - Pass 13:17, act 13:40 37401 - Pass 13:20, act 13:37 37425 & 37424 - Pass 13:41, act 13:39 With the 2 20s & 37401 being held up by a late running Freightliner Leeds to Southampton freight service, it was decided to let the 37 out before the 20s, with the delays meaning we wouldn't have 3 heritage diesels passing in 3 mins... it would be 5! Overall, I was expecting to upload a video of this short trip out today but it was too good of an opportunity not to given the rareness of this very special occasion!
