'Objetivo Sur' Lucha contra el narcotráfico - Aduanas SVA

"Target South" Shows the Fight Against Drug Trafficking This Monday September 21, 2018 Canal Sur Television broadcasts the second installment of its weekly factual program "Target South" this Monday, September 24, starting at 10:25 p.m., focusing this time on drug trafficking. Every day, a fierce battle is fought on the Andalusian coast. The fight against drug trafficking involves all institutions: Security Forces, the Public Prosecutor's Office, the Tax Agency, neighborhood associations, etc. For a whole week, Target South has followed the main players in this relentless fight to stop the flow of drugs. On board Customs Surveillance vessels, the cameras of “Objetivo Sur” have witnessed dangerous chases of drug-running boats attempting to reach the Andalusian coast. From the National Police helicopter, some of these vessels have been tracked and located, and the program has also been present at the checkpoints that the Civil Guard conducts on fishing and recreational boats off the coast of Huelva, searching for potential drug trafficking cases. But the fight doesn't end at sea. Inland, there is another battle being waged by thousands of residents in areas marked by drug trafficking, tired of their neighborhoods being seen as nothing more than drugs. Neighborhood associations appear before the cameras of “Objetivo Sur” to assert that not everyone is the same, sharing small stories from the daily lives of Andalusians trying to survive outside a multi-billion euro business.
