I Visited a place in Philippines where 139 USA Soldiers were burnt alive !

It's hard to imagine, standing here in a quiet street at Plaza Cuartel, this peaceful place once witnessed one of the most horrid darkest moments of World War 11 in the Philippines. I tell you the story of 150 American soldiers being held here as prisoners of war by the Japanese Imperial Army , and how they were burnt alive in the dungeons and tunnels below the ground here . Only 11 escaped from the tunnels either by jumping into the sea or slipping through ventilation shafts , anybody escaping the flames were shot . American POWs are remembered here , photos of the 11 who escaped are still posted on the walls outside the old Spanish Stone Walls . Today Plaza Cuartel stands as a quiet memorial - but the story held here is one of courage , suffering , and survival . Also i talk to an employee of the Philippines National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) the equal of the FBI in the United States of America. I show you the recognition of Dr Jose P Rizal , throughout the Philippines his name is revered , a statue signifies his importance in the Philippines independence from Spain . #PalawanMassacre #PlazaCuartel #DrJoseRizal
