It begins as a simple tubular structure that undergoes significant transformations to attain its final shape and position. Initially, the stomach rotates 90 degrees clockwise around its longitudinal axis, causing the left side to face anteriorly and the right side posteriorly. Concurrently, differential growth of its dorsal and ventral walls leads to the formation of the greater and lesser curvatures, respectively. By the end of the eighth week, the stomach assumes its characteristic J-shape. The mesenteries associated with the stomach also contribute to the development of the greater and lesser omenta. Additionally, the surrounding splanchnic mesoderm gives rise to the muscular and serosal layers of the stomach, ensuring its functional maturation. ๐งฌ #Embryology #StomachDevelopment #MedicalEducation #FMGE #NEETPG #USMLE #MedStudentLife #Anatomy #DigestiveSystem #EmbryoDevelopment #MedicalSchool #MedEd #Foregut #Rotation #Mesenteries #Omenta #Gastroenterology #MedExamPrep #JShapeStomach #StomachAnatomy #ClinicalEmbryology #FutureDoctors #MedLearning #MedStudy #ExamPrep #EmbryologyNotes #StomachFormation #GastroAnatomy #DigestiveHealth #MedicalStudies #fmge #fmgevideos #rapidrevisionfmge #fmgejan2023 #mbbslectures #nationalexitexam #nationalexittest #neetpg #usmlepreparation #usmlestep1 #fmge #usmle #drgbhanuprakash #medicalstudents #medicalstudent #medicalcollege #neetpg2023 #usmleprep #usmlevideos #usmlestep1videos #medicalstudents #neetpgvideos #embryology
