I Crossed America Using Only Dirt Roads | My Journey on the Trans-America Trail

What does it take to cross America using mostly dirt roads? In this feature-length film, I retrace my 5,000-mile journey across the Trans-America Trail from Port Orford, Oregon, to Frisco, North Carolina while living full-time out of my Toyota Tacoma. Following Sam Correro's 2017 route, I traveled through remote forests, high deserts, rugged mountain passes, endless plains, and the backroads of America while relying almost entirely on dispersed camping. Along the way I encountered unexpected challenges, changing landscapes, wildlife encounters, severe weather, vehicle troubles, and long stretches of solitude that made this journey far more than a simple road trip. Originally released as a 15-part series, this film has been completely re-edited and remastered into a single cinematic adventure featuring updated narration, improved pacing, and the complete story from the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic.
