MUSA wins Chibuku NeShamwari
Mutimurefu School of Arts (Musa) has won the 2026 Masvingo province Chibuku NeShamwari Traditional Dance festival. The competition was held in Gutu on Saturday. Musa received US$2 500 prize money and the sole ticket to the national competitions set for July 11, 2026, at a venue to be announced. The dance group performed the Bira dance, a sacred, energetic ritual dance performed to summon ancestral spirits for guidance, healing or rain.
