I believe these ads provide a rare glimpse into Australian life, society and culture during the early 2000s in this case, 2002. In a way, there were like social media memes of today, often creating iconic catch phrases and memorable characters. As a 90s kid I grew up on these ads as this was a time before social media and the popular use of the internet and it was a large part of what we did was watch TV. I feel lucky to be able to bring them back to life and grateful to my parents/past self for making these records.
