Pierwszy Solaris Urbino 18 świata! - Tajemnice Transportu Trójmiasto

When Neoplan Polska decided not to introduce the new Neoplan generation buses - the Cityliner series - into production in it's factory in Bolechowo near Poznań, they started working on completely new family of urban buses. As a result, the first Solaris Urbino 12 was presented in 1999 and shortly after that, it's articulated version - the Solaris Urbino 18. The very first, prototype bendy Urbino 18 was produced for Gdynia (Pomerania, Poland) and served this city's bus routes for the next 20 years until it was replaced with the new MAN Lion's City buses in the late 2019. Let's take a ride on board of the world's oldest articulated Solaris bus!
