Angola is quickly emerging as a new political and economic power on the African continent after nearly 30 years of civil war came to a close in 2002. China’s Kilumba Kiaxi project, with an investment of 3.5 billion US dollars to build houses on a land of 56 square kilometers, is the largest social housing program under construction in Angola.
