🔴Noticia - Sacyr construirá la nueva estación del AVE de Almería

Adif ha adjudicado por 165 millones de euros las obras de construcción para la segunda fase de integración de las vías del tren a su paso por Almería y la remodelación de la estación de esta ciudad para acoger la llegada del AVE. La adjudicataria ha sido la empresa Sacyr. La actuación incluye la construcción de un túnel de 1,9 kilómetros para canalizar la llegada de la alta velocidad a la estación de Almería desde el túnel de El Puche, ya construido, hasta la Avenida del Mediterráneo con una doble vía. La línea de alta velocidad conecta en superficie con la estación almeriense, que contará con seis vías. La estación se renovará y ampliará hasta los 4.800 metros cuadrados en dos plantas para adecuarla al nuevo servicio ferroviario y el aumento del tráfico. Bajo la estación de autobuses se ubicará el nuevo aparcamiento subterráneo, con capacidad para 400 vehículos. El proyecto incluye habilitar una estación provisional de autobuses junto a la estación de tren antigua para garantizar el servicio mientras se construye la nueva estación y el aparcamiento. El 69% del proyecto lo financia ADIF, el Ayuntamiento de Almería el 14,6% y la Junta de Andalucía el 19,5%. El proyecto supondrá dar un impulso a la línea de Alta Velocidad que unirá Almería con Murcia. Está previsto que el AVE llegue a Almería en 2026.
