Why did I quit teaching? I have about 100 reasons for quitting, but I'll honestly talk about the main reasons that stuck with me. [Updated Sunday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6:00 PM!] To get into the details, even on weekends when I was at club, I seriously felt like screaming, "Give me a break!" Not having a break is tough. Teachers need their own time, too. One reason I quit was to make a name for myself in another job, and another was that I couldn't stand doing the same thing over and over again, year after year. Some of you might think, "You're working, so just put up with that!" but I couldn't. I'm sorry. I don't regret quitting my job as a high school teacher at all.
