Article 30-bis of the decree law, included in the conversion law, provides that the Government will transfer to the National Bar Council €246,000 for 2026 and €492,000 for the following two years, to "compensate" lawyers who assist their clients in participating in an assisted repatriation program, provided that the repatriation actually takes place. It has been estimated that this "compensation" will be approximately €615 for each repatriation actually completed.
