Jump Theory: Troubleshooting your Off-Ice Axel for On-Ice Success!
Welcome back! This video is all about off-ice axels. There's been times where I struggled to find a place to skate, so off-ice training has really been beneficial for me. This video is by no means a perfect guide to an axel, rather I want you to record your own attempts and analyze them to find out what might be going wrong. Much of the technique I discussed is for the purpose of transitioning your jumps to ice/inline/quad skates, and I really believe in the power of visualization when it comes to building confidence and muscle memory. Let me know if you have any questions or want any clarification on something I said! Thanks for watching!
