Because the price spiral in the hobby is currently completely out of control. We're talking about boxes that are being traded in Europe for between €550 and €650 – for just 32 cards (hobby) or two to four autographs. After last year's unlicensed failures, Tops is trying to create a massive resurgence with aggressive marketing. But does a triple car featuring Caleb, Daniels, and Maye really justify an entire set where the base cards look like cheap paper and the checklist is crammed with guys who can't possibly justify the price? Today we're doing a brutal reality check: We're discussing the extremely problematic card design (from "poor man's Sherry Blossom" to the ugly Roses short prints), comparing it all to the old Panini prices, and analyzing which teams on the checklist actually make sense. ... 🚨 Important: Don't let sellers/breakers who need to get rid of their stuff talk you into buying this set!
