Queensland Ride Part Two: EMD loco 2455 is DRIVEN HARD from Darra to Ipswich on 30 December 1990.

Part One saw 1526 driven hard from The Valley to Darra where the train terminated and the loco ran around to return. Soon after, the following train for Ipswich arrives hauled by EMD GL22C-2 no.2455. We hear the way they were driven keeping up with the timetable. Electrification was well underway, but loco hauled trains still operated at peak times. We see other trains at Darra and Ipswich during the evening peak, including electric and railcars.
