Watching The battle of Salisbury Plain - 2021
Watching a live-fire training exercise on England's Salisbury Plain Training Area in April 2021. Two RAF Typhoons (callsign 'Vandel') gave close air support to troops fighting an opposing force. Two Army Air Corps Apaches (callsign 'Machette') used their 20mm cannon guns. Opposing forces used tracked vehicles including Challenger 2 tanks and Warriors. the Challengers are making smoke screens. The Callenger tanks were filmed on public access land at Deptford Down military airfield.
