Level Crossing Update, Junee NSW, Australia.

The first activation is shown at 4:00 This is the Olympic Highway (Town Rd) level crossing at Junee, New South Wales. When I first filmed the crossing in December 2016, the McKenzie & Holland teardrop bell on the eastern signal had recently died, the video can be seen here    • Level Crossing, Junee NSW, Australia.   Finally in November 2020 the dead bell was replaced by a Western Cullen Hayes mechanical bell which was recycled from the crossing at Harefield after it was upgraded with gated signals on September 5, 2020. The bell can be seen at Harefield in this video    • Level Crossing, Harefield NSW, Australia.   The replacement bell rings from start up until the gates have lowered, then gives one short ring when the gates rise. The surviving McKenzie & Holland bell on the western signal rings from start up until the gates rise. The train shown in the video is SP41 Xplorer service from Sydney to Griffith. It is first seen arriving on the main line from Sydney, then departing from Junee station and heading onto the Griffith line. Filmed on March 13, 2021.
