In today's cosmic experiment, we did something absolutely mind-blowing - we created a contact binary Jupiter (basically two Jupiters touching but not fully merging) and crashed it into Saturn! At first, we tried making regular binary Jupiters with some Earth-sized planets between them, but gravity had other plans 😅 When we enabled the barycenter option though, something incredible happened: the Jupiters started touching each other without fully colliding, creating this super-hot contact binary system! But the real magic happened when we threw Saturn into the mix. The collision not only disrupted Saturn's beautiful rings but also finally broke up our stubborn Jupiter binary. The coolest part? All of Saturn's moons got captured by the resulting super-Jupiter, creating a massive system with 300-400 moons! While contact binaries do exist in space (usually with stars), seeing something like this with gas giants would be super rare in real life.
