Goose Eye Mountain Climb - Ladders, Iron Rungs, Wind & Epic Views
Goose Eye Mountain Climb - Ladders, Iron Rungs, Wind & Epic Views This was a wild day on the trail. Wet rock slabs, strong winds, ladders, iron rungs, boardwalks, intense muscle cramping and epic views. We hiked the Goose Eye Mountain and Mount Carlos Loop Trail. You start hiking in New Hampshire, cross into Maine, hike along the AT and back into New Hampshire. AllTrails stats show approximately 7.3 miles and 2,611 ft of elevation gain. My watch tracked us at 7.33 miles and 3, 871 ft of elevation gain. Not sure that's accurate but it sure felt like we climbed that much! Thankfully the mist and fog cleared and we got some epic views. Would highly recommend, just not on a wet day. #hikingtrails #whitemountains #hike #hikingtrail #mountains #newhampshire #appalachiantrail #mainetrails #gooseeyemountain Thanks for watching!
