The reforestation of Peru's highlands
Studies show that restoring 20 million hectares of degraded ecosystems in the Latin American and Caribbean region could yield $23 billion in benefits over 50 years. In Peru, a highland reforestation system shows just how that works. Its success means the technique is being adopted in countries along the Andes mountain chain. CGTN's Dan Collyns reports.
