The Psychology of Yuki Sohma (Fruits Basket Season 2)

Yuki from Fruits Basket has endured a lot of trauma while being under the thumb of Akito, and so I'm going to analyze, review, and react to how this might effect Yuki's mental health moving forward. It's likely that Yuki has some degree of PTSD and so I went in depth to determine whether or not he fit all of the DSM-5's diagnostic for an individual with PTSD. I look closely at his interactions with other characters like Shigure, Tohru, and Akito to get further clues regarding his mental health and in turn I think that this is a very holistic view of his character and how he has presented himself throughout seasons 1 and 2 of Fruits Basket.
