The neighbourhood is named after King Lobengula's royal son, Prince Alban Njube Khumalo, and has a fascinating history and interesting tales to tell. D-Square, Njube Turn, Desert Football Ground, KoMakhovula Shopping Centre, Njube High School, St. Pius Church, Isalukazi Arts Centre, and Sdudla Beer Garden are among the township's significant monuments. Njube is also known as Number 3 under the City of Bulawayo demarcations, owing to the building of townships on the city's western flank during the 1945 industrial boom. We meet various community members in this documentary to talk about the township's history, prominent people who come from Njube, interesting vibes, and the work done by Umkhathi Theatre. ~ Let's Connect and get to know each other: » Website: http://magrizamademecook.com/ » Instagram: / magrizamade. . » Facebook: / magrizamadem. . » Twitter: / magrizammc ~ About Magriza Made Me Cook: » Magriza is slang for uGogo (Grandmother in isiNdebele) and the name of the show is derived from Prince's inspiration for falling in love with cooking; his grandmother.
