This mantra is unlike your average mantra. If someone, or some group, is trying to undermine you or an organization, this turns their energy back at them! It is one thing to have protection. The next level is when you bounce their own energy back at them. Then it doesn't affect you, but has the effect on them that they meant for you. It's actually practicing neutrality. If they are sending you another type of energy, so be it. It is up to the them. This mantra was given by Yogi Bhajan to Guru Ma of Kashi Ashram in Florida. She was having a big problem with someone who was undermining the peace and structure of the ashram. She told Yogi ji about it. He gave this mantra to Sam Puran Singh in Orlando and told him to get it recorded. Sam Puran and I (Livtar Singh) recorded it and sent it to her. She played it day and night at the ashram, and the problem dissolved away! She was quite happy. This is the recording. Baba Siri Chand was a powerful well known Yogi who lived in the time of the Sikh Gurus. He was the eldest son of Guru Nanak, and became the founder of the ascetic Udasis. He developed power over the tattwas, which is why he is called upon in this mantra. Baba Siri Chand doesn't fool around. He takes care of the problem. He lived over 135 years.
