Regular customer phoned me up with a 2018 Toyota Auris hybrid maintenance required for hybrid battery cooling parts at your dealer message on the dash , at first I asked the customer to check the coolant level but he decided to come down to the workshop. Checking the coolant level everything was normal , scanned the vehicle for faults no DTC's , then We decided to phone Toyota which straight away the girl at the desk asked if the vehicle was a taxi and the most common issue is the filter / plastic mesh for the hybrid battery fan that gets blocked up .
