The questioning lasted approximately 9.5 hours, starting with Sony's arrival at the Attorney General's Office building at 9:25 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB). According to on-site observations, Sony exited the lobby of the Jampidsus Building at approximately 7:11 p.m. Western Indonesian Time (WIB). As he left the building, he was escorted by two Attorney General's Office officers wearing navy blue field service uniforms. Sony was seen wearing handcuffs as he was escorted to the detention vehicle. The two officers continued to hold him until he entered the vehicle. During the escort, Sony remained silent when bombarded with questions from the media. He also did not respond to reports that he had filed for justice collaborator status. In this case, the Attorney General's Office has named five individuals as suspects in connection with alleged corruption in the management of the MBG program at the National Land Agency (BGN). In addition to Sony Sonjaya, the other suspects are former BGN Head Dadan Hindayana, former BGN Deputy Head Loedwijk Pusung, Asep Yusuf Somantri, and PT Yasa Artha Trimanunggal Commissioner Andri Mulyono. The five suspects are currently being detained for the next 20 days and are suspected of involvement in price mark-ups in the procurement of goods and services that caused losses to the state.
