NATSKA ROUND 12, RYE HOUSE, 27th JUNE 2026 And Harry takes the chequered flag in P1 for the day with fastest lap alongside. An absolute stonking days racing which made up for the problems we had at whilton mill a few weeks ago. A total contrast to the kart handling with conditions at rye sometimes unbearable with the heat in the 30s. This was the last round in the 2025 /2026 championship before the national finals in mid-July. Also quite unreal seeing as he started his karting journey here in 2017 in corporate karting championships, so it made a nice finishing touch to his junior rotax journey. With the practice days always helpful we managed to get the race day set up spot on in all regards with the days race grid of 22 drivers. Heat 1 - Starting in 18th was the first of four great heats. This one was only spoilt with the Battenburg flags because of an incident meaning harry made up 10 places to finish in P8 Heat 2 - Starting in 8th place with great pace made up 4 places to finish the heat in P3 Heat 3 – Starting in 4th place. A great start off the line and managing to take the lead out of turn 1 saw to another close fought heat with kart 61 saw take the chequered flag in P1 Heat 4 – Starting in 15th place saw harry have his best round making up 13 places and taking fastest lap for the day finishing the heat in P2. Breaking his personal best 3 times in the days racing. This was such a good penultimate round to the 6 years of NATSKA championship racing. Onwards to the national finals now at Llandow racetrack in wales with harry sitting in 5th place in the championship and 12 points separating 2nd to 5th place.
