Hiking the Ausangate Trek in Peru while traveling South America by motorcycle After living and traveling through Peru on my motorcycle, I set out to hike one of the most spectacular mountains in the Andes: Ausangate. What I expected was an incredible trek through remote valleys, glaciers, and high mountain passes. What I didn't expect was being asked to help a remote Peruvian Abuela with a mission that would take me all the way to Rainbow Mountain. Along the way, I faced freezing nights, breathtaking scenery, and an experience that reminded me how powerful human connection can be when you're far from home.
