DETAILED VIDEO BREAKDOWN: You've probably seen Heavenly Heat's new ads on social media. Their marketing angle is focused on what they've always done well: high-quality, non-toxic, "medical grade" construction. In an industry full of compromises, I respect them for not cutting corners on materials that could jeopardize your health. But is it worth the price? And is it the most therapeutic design? THE CRITIQUE: WHAT I DON'T LIKE THE PRICE: At $6,000 (plus tax) for their two-person model, the Heavenly Heat is on the very high side. As I'll show you, you can get a sauna with the same build quality and better therapeutic features for $1,000 to $1,500 less right here: https://sunstreamsaunas.convertri.com... THE 165°F HEAT: Heavenly Heat boasts a very high cabin temperature of 165°F, which is unusual for a carbon sauna. But don't be fooled—a hotter sauna isn't' a direct correlation to "better". The goal of infrared is to heat your body directly, not just the air. High cabin temp isn't the most important metric for a therapeutic experience. NO FLOOR EMITTER: This is my biggest issue with the design. Your feet and hands have unique vasculature that is crucial for your circulatory system. Sending direct infrared rays into the soles of your feet is a great way to interact with your blood and raise your core body temperature efficiently. Heavenly Heat completely omits an emitter under your feet. POOR "WATT DENSITY": If you look at the photos, the carbon emitters on the walls go very high, almost to the ceiling. Heat rises. This means a significant amount of the wattage and infrared energy is being wasted heating the air above your head, rather than being concentrated on your body. They also have an even stronger 20amp-25amp model versions! 360° COVERAGE: Sunstream is the ONLY company I know of that features a large, 360-watt carbon emitter mounted on the front glass door. This targets your core and ensures you are surrounded by infrared, raising your core temperature much more efficiently. IT HAS A FLOOR HEATER ULTRA-LOW EMF/ELF: The lowest I have found EASY TO CLEAN: The owner, Kevin, has designed the sauna with removable floor grates and magnetic emitter covers, making it incredibly easy to clean and maintain—a feature most brands overlook. MY VERDICT While I respect Heavenly Heat's build quality, its high price and inefficient therapeutic design (no floor heater, high emitters) mean your $6,000+ (sale price) isn't getting you the best possible experience. Before you buy, I strongly recommend you check out Sun Stream Saunas. You'll get a more advanced, more therapeutic, and safer sauna for a lot less money.
