"Although history will tell you that 1500 years ago the Pagan Celts were converted into Christian Celts, the conversion - though profound - was never quite complete." Bill Kerr-Elliott reports on pagan rituals and religions in Celtic areas, focusing on the way these regions adopted Christianity but managed to incorporate many of their previously held Pagan beliefs into their Christian faith. Bill travels to Dublin to see the Book of Kells, to Donegal in the north west of Ireland where he visits Glencolmcille and Tory Island - where he is given some sacred Tory clay - and to western Cornwall, where he finds a pagan well that is said to have healing properties.
