Building Our CHICKEN COOP in Sicily + Neighbors Overwhelm Us with Their Produce!"
This week at our abandoned Sicilian farmhouse, we're making major progress! We excavate the old driveway to create space for our future courtyard, and finally build the chicken coop we've been planning for months. Beth is especially excited to put up the "Jaddinedda" sign - that's Sicilian for "little hen house"! But the real highlight comes when our wonderful neighbors stop by to help with our garden and then completely overwhelm us with an incredible bounty of fresh produce from their own gardens. This is what we love most about living in rural Sicily - the warmth and generosity of the local community never ceases to amaze us. From heavy machinery and construction work to baskets overflowing with: zucchini, peppers, and cukes, this episode shows the full spectrum of our new life here. We're slowly but surely turning this old farm into our dream home, one project at a time. Join us for another authentic slice of Sicilian farm life, where every day brings new challenges and rewards. 🌞 CONNECT WITH US IN SICILY: 📱 Instagram: / beessicilianadventures
