Comparison clip with Idle sounds from Version 1 and Version 2 of the exhaust I built for the American Gasser Hemi swapped PT Cruiser. The car features a 5.7L Hemi with custom long-tube headers with 3in collectors. The same custom center-exit tip was used for both systems and both used ‪@STAINLESSWORKSNET‬ hangers. Version 1 was 3in polished 304 stainless steel pipe, and had an H-pipe crossover. The mufflers used were ‪@SLPStreetLegalPerformance‬ Loudmouth series mufflers. After a while of driving the customers felt that the 1st system was louder than they were comfortable with so I picked out what I though would be the quietest setup I could put on the car given what we had to work with. For Version 2 we reduced the diameter down to 2.5in 304 stainless and went with an x-pipe style crossover.
