5 Greatest Fears About Coming Out As Ace (& How I Overcame Them!)

Coming out can be really intimidating, but it's worth it to live as your authentic self. So I wanted to share some of the things that scared me the most about coming out as asexual and how I got past them. If you're dealing with any fears or worries about coming out—as ace or anything else—I hope you find this video relatable and helpful. I mentioned this in the video, but I also want to reiterate it here: safety comes first. So if your biggest fear about coming out is that you're in an unsafe environment, the best thing you can do in that situation is be patient and start taking steps toward finding a safe and supportive community where you can live your truth. If you have any questions, comments, or advice of your own about overcoming your fear of coming out, I would love to hear from you. Most social media algorithms are notoriously unfriendly to queer content, so if you could please like, subscribe, and share this video with anyone who would be interested, I would super appreciate it! :) Music used in this video: Stellar Wind by Unicorn Heads from the YouTube Audio Library You can find me on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, & Original Glaze at @gckinsey
