Et voici un morceau qui me tient particulièrement à cœur. Il avait été composé à l'origine pour mon troisième album, mais faute d'avoir trouvé les mots justes à temps, il était resté inachevé. Le voici aujourd'hui dans une version plus épurée, plus mature, plus fidèle à ce que j'entendais depuis le début. Parfois, les compositions attendent simplement le bon moment pour révéler leur véritable identité. J'espère que mon ami et formidable batteur Stéphane Cavanez, qui avait apporté toute son énergie à la première version, acceptera de reprendre l'aventure sur cette version enfin aboutie. Et bien sûr... le jazz-fusion est encore à l'honneur, avec cette liberté, cette énergie et cette recherche mélodique qui me passionnent depuis toujours. It was originally written for my third album, but I couldn't finish the lyrics in time, so it remained unfinished. Today, it returns in a cleaner, more refined version—closer to what I had imagined from the very beginning. Sometimes, a composition simply waits for the right moment to reveal its true identity. I sincerely hope that my friend and outstanding drummer @Stéphane Cavanez, who brought so much life to the original recording, will join me once again for this completed version.
