GRANDMOTHER OVER A CENTURY ILL, LIVING IN A REMOTE HOUSE ON THE EDGE OF THE FOREST On this trip, I visited Mak Syariah, a 105-year-old grandmother who lives in a simple stilt house on the edge of the forest in Tanjung Jaya District, Tasikmalaya Regency. Mak Syariah's current condition is quite concerning, having been bedridden for dozens of days. Although she is over a century old, Mak Syariah's memory and hearing are still quite good. Amidst the silence of the forest's edge, fortunately, she still has children and grandchildren who faithfully care for and accompany Mak Syariah, especially when her condition declines. Through this video, we also convey the donation of basic food supplies and medical expenses from donors to help ease the burden on Mak Syariah and her family.
