90's Drift Culture Today? We Hit The Mountains and Minami Chiba

Part two of our amazing journey to Japan. In this part of the trip we had down to Tokyo from NIKKO Circuit. Before getting to Minami Chiba Circuit, we head up to the mountains to watch the locals shred. We’ve all seen videos online, but watching in real life is a different ball game. The next morning, we woke up early and headed to the track with the tow truck. Thanks to Rasel. We were surprised to find out, It was basically a local car show that also had drifting. Unlike America, it was pretty much a free-for-all, which made it feel like we were living in the 90s. The carefree event turned into something that was really rad to be at. Driving with the locals was fun and there is a tree line that we could basically put the entire back half of the E36 under. A Subaru actually dropped the tire and dirt almost went off the woods. It was definitely rowdy. Stay tuned for our next video that is based at sunrise circuit which I believe is one of the most exciting tracks of the trip.
