🟢🙉 Today, Punch received lots of grooming from his friends, and during feeding time, as always, he stayed close to his father. The babies also looked healthy and full of energy, running, jumping, and climbing around the mountain. ⚠️ A concerning incident occurred today at around 10 a.m. A person wearing a costume entered the macaque enclosure, but the zookeeper quickly removed the person from the area. Situations like this can be dangerous and stressful for the macaques, especially during baby season when mothers are highly protective of their infants. Later, the police inspected the area where the person had entered, so part of the viewing area was temporarily closed during the afternoon. We hope incidents like this will not happen again and that the animals will always be treated with respect.
